| Here's a quick and easy scrubbie to brighten up your kitchen! The center is made with Needloft Plastic Canvas Yarn (2-ply 100% nylon) The petals are worsted weight cotton yarn. Gauge isn't real important, I used an "H" crochet hook. Finished size: about 6 inches across.
Note: To work dbl tr (double triple crochet) YO 3 times, draw a loop through 2 loops on hook 4 times. (Just like a tr, only start with 3 wraps around hook instead of 2).
Center: (Make 2) Using nylon yarn, ch 4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook, join with a sl st in top of ch 4. (12 dc)Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around, join. (24 dc) Finish off 1st center. At end of 2nd center, DO NOT FINISH OFF.Join centers: With wrong sides together, ch 1, sc in back loops only of both centers around, join with a sl st in first sc. Finish off. (24 sc)Attach cotton yarn with a sl st in any sc. Work 2 sc in each st around, join. (48 sc)Petals: Ch 1, *{(sc, hdc) in next st; (dc, tr) in next st; dbl tr in next st, (tr, dc) in next st, (hdc, sc) in next st, sl st in next}, (petal made). Repeat from * 7 times more, join with a sl st in first sc. Finish off, weave in ends.
